I remember a time when everything felt limitless.
It was a time when knowledge and discovery were the sole priorities in my life. I experienced genuine happiness as I constantly uncovered new things.
However, in the midst of this chaotic race to nowhere, I have lost the precious gift of curiosity. I found myself confined within a set of limitations that dictate how I should think, act, and perceive the world. Adulthood can be overwhelming, marked by judgments and a tendency to filter new experiences through the lens of the past.
It took me 30 years to reignite the flame of curiosity and the thirst for knowledge that had been dormant within me. I had to learn how to become still and curious.
It seems as if we have constructed an rigid and static framework for life. Why have we done so? In a world characterized by constant change, we forgot to embrace adaptability. Stepping outside of our comfort zones has become unfamiliar territory.
We should embrace the childlike spirit within us and rediscover the innate curiosity and openness to the world. Just like children, we can embody the joy of discovery each day. By encountering boundaries and learning how to overcome them, we create a beautiful and challenging experience that enriches our lives.
Life is a playground, we are the ones making it so serious.
